Grandparent's Day!!

We had such a wonderful time celebrating Grandparent's Day this morning.  We put on a performance by singing our Grandparent's poem- "You Are Special" to all of our guests!  After we finished our performance we got to show our grandparents what we do during center time.  We had the best time reading together, playing together and visiting together!  We love our grandparents!!

Ant Hunt!

We had the best time during science today!  Since we have been learning about ants we decided to go on an ant hunt.  We all learned how to use magnifying glasses!  Before we went outside we went over some rules to make sure we were safe on our ant hunt (this included no touching the ants).  We also made some predictions about where we would find ants.  Most of our predictions were correct!  We found them in the grass, by the trees and even near food!  Being a scientist is pretty awesome!!

Thank you!!

Thank you all for your continued support throughout this year!  I cannot believe that it is almost the end of the school year; time sure has flown by.  I just wanted to take a minute and tell you all how much I appreciate all of the cards and sweet treats for teacher appreciation week!  I truly love my job and all of my sweet babies!  I am blessed to be in such a wonderful school with supportive teachers, parents and of course the amazing children!
