Green Day:
We had so much fun celebrating "green day" this week! The kids have worked so hard and now know all of their green list words. We used green all day on Tuesday!
Reading Celebration:
We had our third reading celebration this week! The kids had a great time creating and dressing up as their favorite character. They shared about their favorite character, talked with others about how they have grown as readers, got to listen to our assistant principal Mr. Scott read one of his favorite books and got to take home a new book to add to their home libraries!
Science: I can identify oviparous animals.
This week we continued to learn about oviparous animals. We spent a lot of time talking about chicks since we will be getting chicken eggs after spring break! We learned all about the life cycle of a chicken to prepare.
Writing: I can write an informative story.
This week students have had a great time writing facts about oviparous animals. They had to write facts about an oviparous animal and then their peers would have to guess what animal they were writing about.
