We continued learning about and observing pumpkins this week.  After we used our five senses we carved the pumpkin into a jack-o-lantern.  We then learned about the life cycle of a pumpkin!

Reading Celebration #1
On Monday we dressed up as our favorite characters and celebrated the growth that we have all made as readers!  Mrs. Thompson (our principal) dressed up as Snow White and read to us, we got to talk to students in other classes about our favorite book, we got a new book to add to our home libraries, had a special snack and talked about how we have grown!  It was a great day!!

Secret Reader:
Graydon's uncle came to read to our class!

One of our guidance counselor's, Mrs. Sitsch, came to read to our class!

Our other guidance counselor, Mrs. Dreher, came to read to our class!
