Reading: I can listen to stories read aloud so I can compare characters.
We have been reading books and comparing the characters. Here is a picture of some similarities and differences we found with the characters. We also used these characters to write opinion pieces during writing workshop.
Math: I can compose and decompose numbers 11-19.
We have been working on making and taking apart numbers this week. Here are some pictures of students working together in math tubs to practice this concept and pictures of students working in math journals at our tables.
Orange Day:
We had a great time during "orange day"! We celebrated everyone knowing their orange word list by creating orange art pieces and writing about them, using orange colored pencils to write, making words with orange playdoh and more!
Star Student:
Our "star student" this week was Eva! We have loved learning about Eva and the things that she enjoys!
